bitbank announces the investment in a startup accelerator “Next Web Capital” which supports Web3.0 entrepreneurs

We announce that bitbank, inc. (HQ: Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan CEO: Noriyuki Hirosue; hereinafter referred to as the Company) has invested in a startup accelerator “ Next Web Capital ‘’ which supports Web3.0 entrepreneurs.

■Background of the investment

NeW is a startup accelerator founded by 7 Japanese entrepreneurs who are active at the forefront of Web 3.0 and develop globally their businesses — such as Stake Technologies, who runs Aster Network and Fracton Ventures, to whom bitbank supported for incubation program.

bitbank supports various innovative projects of cryptocurrency and blockchain fields in order to expand use-cases of cryptocurrency. We believe that by supporting innovative projects-based Web3.0 through the investment in NeW, we can contribute to build an ecosystem which encourages Japanese young entrepreneurs to challenge the world.
